“Where were you before you came into this body?” is the question I asked a few days ago in a circle that I have the great honor of guiding. The answers were so, so beautiful. “Heaven,” “Paradise,” “I don’t where exactly but I know how I felt, it felt like love,” “A tree or plant,” “Living past lives,” “Home…”
The truth is, for most of us, that life didn’t start for us on our birthday in this lifetime, but rather this life is the newest incarnation, and continuation of many past lives. And, if this is true, there is a richness about each one of us that includes a deep gnosis of wisdom and experience that we carry with us, within us.
The life upon us invites us to remember who we are. I am a lover of beauty, and beautiful things. I am an artist. I am a Bhakti, a pilgrim,
and a theologian in love with all faiths and devotion. I am a writer,
and a poet. I am a sister. I am a teacher, a guide and a muse.
Among my accomplishments in this lifetime are: a B.S. in Secondary Education: English and eight years of public school teaching with a Teacher of the Year accolade. A 350HR RYT Yoga Alliance accreditation as a Bhakti Vinyasa Flow Teacher, with nearly ten years of experience teaching. A published book of poetry called These Words, and a portfolio of luxury travel writing with The Fit Traveller. A lifetime of service as a female entrepreneur: wedding planning (with many design awards + global press coverage), marketing agency (named as an innovator by the press), content creator and influencer, business development coach, branding academy; and currently a spiritual guide in deep service to women.
